“I did not stay at the hostel for a long time, but what I did see quite surprised me. I booked the cheapest bed in the last minute. I booked a fourteen bed room, but was given an eight bed room, what no one should mind, especially since the room was half full. The community seems nice, keeping the dishes clean and leaving a lot of free food behind them, which I did too. From what I heard, the kitchen isn't the best one around, but I liked it just fine - it has everything one needs. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and well supplied. Bunk beds make a bit of noise when you move, but earplugs should anyway be a part of your equipment if planning of sleeping in a 6, 8, 10... bed room. All in all I would very much recommend this hostel to anyone!”
Seks personer i soverom uten vindu
Cheap and good location
“I recommend Interhostel to everyone who want to save money and get central location in Stockholm. It takes 10 minutes only to walk to the hostel from Central Railwaystation. You don`t need to buy a metro ticket. Also you can cook in the kitchen. Very, very clean and safe. I shall come back again when I come to Stockholm.”
No window in the room !
“No window in the room !”
“In all the years,+40, I have stayed in hostels world wide, this comes down as a lifetime low. ONE prime reason: The ventilation in the room was non exsistant, and the temperature was, even with a borrowed fan, around 28 degrees. So one night totally without any sleep. The hostel staff just shrugged shoulders and told me that it was centrally controlled and not possible to change. I chekced out the next morning, and wanted a reimbursement for the following two nights. This was not possible. I realise cancellation policies, bit in this case I regarded this as from a cancellation as it could be. Since the room was gennerally not suited for staying/living in. I was re-imbursed one night. But even that was difficult to obtain. The staff, all Russian, suddenly became rather hostile, and told me that since the manager was not present, a re-imbursement was impossible "until later". I had no indication as to when this would. I did argue and finally obtainbed a cacsh refund for one night. I had expected no less than a total refund for the remaining two nights.
